  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The application for the appointment of railroad policemen shall be in such form as the director of the department of public safety may prescribe and shall include a statement in such detail as the director of the department of public safety may require as to the age, education, training in law enforcement and experience of each employee for whom appointment is requested. Each application shall be signed by an officer of the railroad company and by each employee for whom appointment is requested. Each application shall be accompanied by the statements of three reputable citizens of the state of Missouri attesting to the moral character of each employee for whom appointment is requested. A fee of fifteen dollars for each employee for whom appointment is requested shall be filed with the application to defray the expenses of processing the application.
