The third Saturday of October of each year is hereby designated as “Domestic Violence Awareness Day” in Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to participate in appropriate events and activities to bring awareness to domestic violence and its impacts on individuals regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or socioeconomic status.
