January sixteenth each year is hereby designated as “Albert Pujols Day” in Missouri. The citizens of this state are encouraged to participate in appropriate events and activities to celebrate the legendary St. Louis Cardinals first baseman who retired in 2022 with more than three thousand career hits and more than seven hundred career home runs.
