1.  Any person who willfully violates any provision of this chapter or any provision of the rules and regulations prescribed hereunder shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 284.430

  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
  • Public service: means positions providing service for any office, department, board, commission, bureau, agency or institution in the Executive Department of the State Government operating by authority of the Constitution or law, and supported in whole or in part by any public money, whether the money is received from the Government of the United States or any branch or agency thereof, or from private or any other sources. See Nevada Revised Statutes 284.015

2.  Any person who is convicted of a misdemeanor under this chapter shall, for a period of 5 years, be ineligible for appointment to or employment in a position in the public service, and if the person is an officer or employee of the State, the person shall forfeit the person’s office or position.
