At any time before judgment, or within 10 days thereafter, the bail may surrender the defendant in their exoneration; or the defendant may surrender to the sheriff of the county where the defendant was arrested.

- Bail: Security given for the release of a criminal defendant or witness from legal custody (usually in the form of money) to secure his/her appearance on the day and time appointed.
