Such person shall cause a notice in writing to be given to the plaintiff, or the plaintiff’s agent or attorney, that at a certain time and place the person will apply to the district judge of the county in which such person may be confined for the purpose of obtaining a discharge from imprisonment.

- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
- Plaintiff: The person who files the complaint in a civil lawsuit.
