In all cases where the Director is required or authorized by law to proceed upon a verified complaint, the Director, or the Director’s deputy so authorized by the Director, may take depositions, within or without the State, as the circumstances of the case may require.

- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Director: means the Director of the Department. See Nevada Revised Statutes 561.025
