Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 325:20
- state: when applied to different parts of the United States, may extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall include said district and territories. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:4
The board shall issue to each applicant successfully passing the examination, where an examination is required, and who otherwise satisfies the board of her or his qualifications, a license, entitling her or him to practice or engage in the business in this state as a funeral director, embalmer, or both, as the case may be.
