Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 498:15
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- real estate: shall include lands, tenements, and hereditaments, and all rights thereto and interests therein. See New Hampshire Revised Statutes 21:21
In the case of real estate, the lien shall be created by filing the certified copy in the office of the register of deeds of the county in which the real estate is situated.
