Terms Used In New Hampshire Revised Statutes 543:6
- Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
- Litigation: A case, controversy, or lawsuit. Participants (plaintiffs and defendants) in lawsuits are called litigants.
There shall be a lien upon the property for such charges, services, and expenses as are necessary for the keeping of the same, pending litigation.
