Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 2C:28-5.3

  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
A motion for an order as provided by section 1 of this act may be made by the prosecuting authority, the defendant, or by any witness.
