Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 2C:28-5.4
- Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.
No order may be issued under this act unless the court’s findings are made upon a preponderance of evidence adduced at a hearing. The rules of evidence shall not be applicable to any such hearing.
