Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 2C:28-5.5

  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
No order shall be entered under this act which interferes with the preparation of the underlying criminal case by the defendant or by his attorney, if any.
