Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 3B:23-16

  • Estate: means all of the property of a decedent, minor or incapacitated individual, trust or other person whose affairs are subject to this title as the property is originally constituted and as it exists from time to time during administration. See New Jersey Statutes 3B:1-1
When the account of a personal representative has been allowed by court, the court may direct just distribution, in accordance with the provisions of the will, of what shall remain in the estate or a trust under the will, after all debts and expenses and other charges have been allowed and deducted.
