- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
- State: extends to and includes any State, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia and the Canal Zone. See New Jersey Statutes 1:1-2
Any deferred compensation plan shall be in addition to the obligation of the employee under any other retirement system or benefit plan established pursuant to any other law of this State.
