Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 43:18-1
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The employees of the local board or department of health heretofore or hereafter established in any city may form a corporation for the purpose of providing and obtaining a fund to pension such employees.
