- Administrator: means the Treasurer of the State of New Jersey, any individual serving as the Acting Treasurer in the absence of the appointed Treasurer, and any State employee to whom the Treasurer has delegated authority to administer the provisions of this chapter and to execute any pertinent documents. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
- Holder: means a person, wherever organized or domiciled, who is the original obligor indebted to another on an obligation. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
- Property: means tangible property described in R. See New Jersey Statutes 46:30B-6
46:30B-104. Penalty for failure to render report or perform other duties. Except as otherwise provided in R.S.46:30B-105 or 46:30B-105.1, a holder who fails to report, pay or deliver property within the time prescribed by chapter 30B of Title 46 of the Revised Statutes, or fails to perform other duties imposed by that chapter, shall pay to the administrator, in addition to the interest as provided in R.S.46:30B-103, a civil penalty of $200 for each day the report, payment, or delivery is withheld, or the duty is not performed, up to a maximum of $100,000.
