Terms Used In New Jersey Statutes 46:38A-34
- Minor: means an individual who has not attained the age of 21 years. See New Jersey Statutes 46:38A-2
- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
- Person: means an individual, corporation, organization, or other legal entity. See New Jersey Statutes 46:38A-2
A delivery, payment, or expenditure under R.S. 46:38A-32 or R.S. 46:38A-33 is in addition to, not in substitution for, and does not affect any obligation of a person to support the minor.
