A. A person aggrieved by a determination as to eligibility for relocation payments or the amount of payment received under the Relocation Assistance Act shall have the right to a hearing before the displacing agency or before a hearing officer designated by the displacing agency.

  • Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.

B. After the hearing, a person aggrieved or affected by a final administrative determination concerning eligibility for relocation payments or the amount of the payment under the Relocation Assistance Act may appeal to the district court pursuant to the provisions of Section 39-3-1.1 N.M. Stat. Ann..
