The secretary shall establish, within each division, such “bureaus” as he deems necessary to carry out the provisions of the Corrections Department Act. He shall appoint a “chief” to be the administrative head of any such bureau. The chief and all subsidiary employees of the department shall be covered by the Personnel Act [N.M. Stat. Ann. Chapter 10, Article 9], unless otherwise provided by law.
There is created within the administrative services division of the department the “standards and inspection bureau”.
