The provisions of Article 10 of the uniform commercial code as enacted by chapter five hundred fifty-three of the laws of nineteen hundred sixty-two and as last amended by chapter eight hundred sixty-eight of the laws of nineteen hundred sixty-five shall continue to apply to Revised Article 9 and for this purpose Original Article 9 and Revised Article 9 shall be considered one continuous statute.
