Six dollars and twenty cents ($6.20) of each fee collected by the register of deeds under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 161-10(a)(1) and (a)(1a) shall be remitted by the register of deeds to the county finance officer, who shall remit the funds to the State Treasurer on a monthly basis to be credited as follows:

(1) Fifty-five percent (55%) to the Floodplain Mapping Fund established under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-215.56A.

  • state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories, so called; and the words "United States" shall be construed to include the said district and territories and all dependencies. (2) Twenty percent (20%) to the General Fund as nontax revenue.
