Terms Used In North Carolina General Statutes 58-41-55

  • Restitution: The court-ordered payment of money by the defendant to the victim for damages caused by the criminal action.

In addition to criminal penalties for acts declared unlawful by this Article, any violation of this Article subjects an insurer to revocation or suspension of its license, or monetary penalties or payment of restitution as provided in N.C.
