Terms Used In North Dakota Code 40-40-02
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See North Dakota Code 1-01-49
1. “Governing body” means the city council, board of city commissioners, park commissioners, or city manager.
2. “Municipality” means any city or park district in this state.
