The public children services agency may accept and receive bequests, donations, and gifts of funds or property, real or personal, for child care and services. The facilities or services to be established or maintained through any such gift shall be subject to the approval of the department of job and family services.

Terms Used In Ohio Code 5153.30

  • Child: means any person under eighteen years of age or a person with a mental or physical disability, as defined by rule adopted by the director of job and family services, under twenty-one years of age. See Ohio Code 5153.01
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Property: means real and personal property. See Ohio Code 1.59
  • public children services agency: means an entity specified in section 5153. See Ohio Code 5153.01
