A student who receives a modified diploma or extended diploma under ORS § 329.451 may not be denied eligibility for financial aid to obtain post-secondary education in a public university listed in ORS § 352.002, community college or independent not-for-profit institution of higher education that operates in this state for the sole reason that the student did not receive a high school diploma.
