Oregon Statutes 398.010 – Territorial applicability of Oregon Code of Military Justice
(1) The Oregon Code of Military Justice applies throughout this state and also applies to all persons otherwise subject to the code while they are serving outside the state, and while they are going to and returning from such service outside the state, in the same manner and to the same extent as if they were serving inside the state.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(2) Courts-martial and courts of inquiry may be convened and held in units of the organized militia while those units are serving outside the state with the same jurisdiction and powers as to persons subject to the Oregon Code of Military Justice as if the proceedings were held inside the state.
