Terms Used In Oregon Statutes 657.273

  • Evidence: Information presented in testimony or in documents that is used to persuade the fact finder (judge or jury) to decide the case for one side or the other.

(1) May not be used for the purpose of claim preclusion or issue preclusion in any other action or proceeding except an administrative or civil action or proceeding under this chapter; and

(2) Are not admissible as evidence in any other civil action or proceeding other than civil actions or proceedings under this chapter or in determination of eligibility for public assistance or supplemental nutrition assistance under ORS § 412.001 to 412.161 and ORS Chapter 411.
