Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, a credit union may receive deposits from the State of Oregon of moneys belonging to the Deferred Compensation Fund established under ORS § 243.411. With respect to such deposits, the State of Oregon shall be deemed to be a member of the credit union, except that the state shall not be entitled to vote, hold office or otherwise participate in the management or operation of the credit union.
