Any special development district commission created pursuant to this chapter will not be subject to the provisions of § 42-35-1 — § 42-35-18. Any commission and its members will be subject to the provisions of § 36-14-1 — § 36-14-19 and § 42-46-1 — § 42-46-10.

- Commission: means a special development district commission designated by a city council pursuant to this chapter. See Rhode Island General Laws 45-24.4-3
- Special development district: means an area of a city established, designated, laid out, or defined by a city council pursuant to this chapter because it is or may be the subject of combined federal, state, local, and private action relating to a railroad relocation project.
