- Chambers: A judge's office.
The resident judge of each judicial circuit in this State shall have the same right and power at chambers to order special terms of the circuit court, general sessions and common pleas, as is by this article given to presiding judges. Such courts, when ordered, shall be held by the resident judge unless another judge is assigned to hold the same by the Chief Justice as provided in § 14-5-920 for presiding judges, and such courts, when ordered, shall be governed by the same procedure as other courts called pursuant to this article and subject to all its provisions.
