Terms Used In South Carolina Code 38-33-250
- Director: means the person who is appointed by the Governor upon the advice and consent of the Senate and who is responsible for the operation and management of the Department of Insurance, including all of its divisions. See South Carolina Code 38-33-20
All applications and filings required under § 38-33-30 and any annual and quarterly financial reports required under § 38-33-90 must be treated as public documents. Nothing herein may be construed to require disclosure of trade secrets, privileged or confidential commercial information, or replies to a specific request for information made by the director or his designee.
