Terms Used In South Carolina Code 57-9-30

  • Clerk of court: An officer appointed by the court to work with the chief judge in overseeing the court's administration, especially to assist in managing the flow of cases through the court and to maintain court records.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
The clerk of court or register of deeds of the county where the property is situated shall record the order of the court and index the same in the book of deeds to real property.
