Terms Used In Tennessee Code 13-30-108
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Corporation: means a corporation created pursuant to this chapter to operate a land bank. See Tennessee Code 13-30-103
- Local government: means :
(A) Any home rule municipality. See Tennessee Code 13-30-103
The corporation may enter into contracts and agreements with the creating local government or local governments for staffing services to be provided to the corporation by such local governments or agencies or departments thereof.
