The commissioner is authorized and directed to promulgate rules in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, compiled in title 4, chapter 5, for purposes including, but not limited to:

(1) General administration of the county incentive program;

  • Commissioner: means the commissioner of correction or the commissioner's designee. See Tennessee Code 41-8-103
  • program: means the method of providing financial assistance and incentive to counties for the purposes provided in this chapter, through increased subsidies, grants or loans. See Tennessee Code 41-8-103
(2) Requirements for county plans;
(3) Evaluation of plans submitted by counties; and
(4) Termination of county participation.
