(a) The board shall keep a complete and accurate record of all meetings and actions taken, and of all receipts and disbursements, and shall make reports of the same to the governing body of the municipality at stated intervals, not to exceed one (1) year.

  • Governing body: means the county legislative body, board, body or commission having general charge of the municipality. See Tennessee Code 7-52-102
  • Municipality: means any county, metropolitan government, incorporated city or town in the state of Tennessee. See Tennessee Code 7-52-102
  • Record: means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or that is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in a perceivable form. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
  • Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Tennessee Code 1-3-105
(b) Such reports shall be in writing, shall be filed in open meeting of the governing body of the municipality, at stated intervals, not to exceed one (1) year, and a copy shall be filed with the municipal clerk or recorder.
