Terms Used In Tennessee Code 7-52-116
- Electric service: means the furnishing of electric power and energy for lighting, heating, power or any other purpose for which electric power and energy can be used. See Tennessee Code 7-52-102
- Municipality: means any county, metropolitan government, incorporated city or town in the state of Tennessee. See Tennessee Code 7-52-102
The supervisory body shall charge the municipality and all departments and works of the municipality for any electric service furnished to the municipality, at the rates applicable to other customers taking service under similar conditions. Revenues derived from such service shall be treated as all other revenues.
