Terms Used In Michigan Laws 791.508
- Appropriation: The provision of funds, through an annual appropriations act or a permanent law, for federal agencies to make payments out of the Treasury for specified purposes. The formal federal spending process consists of two sequential steps: authorization
- Council: means the correctional officers' training council created under section 3. See Michigan Laws 791.502
- Department: means the state department of corrections. See Michigan Laws 791.502
- Executive secretary: means the executive secretary of the council. See Michigan Laws 791.502
Administrative support services for the council and executive secretary shall be provided by the department as provided by separate appropriation for the council.
