Terms Used In Texas Agriculture Code 13.117
- Department: means the Department of Agriculture. See Texas Agriculture Code 1.003
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person commits an offense if the person refuses to allow a weighing or measuring device under the person’s control or in the person’s possession to be inspected, tested, or examined by the department, and the inspection, test, or examination is required or authorized by this chapter.
