Terms Used In Texas Agriculture Code 50.004

  • Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
  • Year: means 12 consecutive months. See Texas Government Code 311.005

The Texas Agricultural Experiment Station shall provide to the committee in each house of the legislature having jurisdiction over agricultural matters an annual accounting of all money received, awarded, and expended during the year.
