- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
An offense in which a person is injured in one county and, as a result of the injury, dies in another county, may be prosecuted in the county in which:
(1) the injury was received;
(2) the death occurred; or
(3) the person’s body is found.
