- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
The board may make joint appointments in the component institutions of the system, with the salary of any person who receives a joint appointment to be apportioned to the appointing institution on the basis of services rendered.
