Terms Used In Texas Election Code 162.006
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person becomes affiliated with a political party when the person takes an oath of affiliation as provided by Section 162.007 or 162.008.
