(a) Except as otherwise provided by this code, only one person at a time may occupy a voting station.
(b) A child under 18 years of age may accompany the child’s parent to a voting station.
Terms Used In Texas Election Code 64.002
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Voting station: means the voting booth or other place where voters mark their ballots or otherwise indicate their votes at a polling place. See Texas Election Code 1.005
