Terms Used In Texas Finance Code 371.176
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
- Property: means real and personal property. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A pawnbroker may not:
(1) accept a pledge or purchase property from a person under 18 years of age; or
(2) transact business with a person believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
