- Obligation: An order placed, contract awarded, service received, or similar transaction during a given period that will require payments during the same or a future period.
To the extent of a conflict between a municipal charter and any provision of this chapter relating to an anticipation note or other obligation issued under § 1431.015, this chapter controls.
