Terms Used In Texas Government Code 1506.101
- Population: means the population shown by the most recent federal decennial census. See Texas Government Code 311.005
This subchapter applies only to a municipality that:
(1) is located on the Gulf of Mexico or on a channel, canal, bay, or inlet connected to the Gulf of Mexico; and
(2) has a population of:
(A) more than 53,000 and less than 84,000; or
(B) more than 115,000 and less than 160,000.
