- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
A contract authorized by § 609.505 or by § 609.509 for either deferred compensation plan is exempt from:
(1) Subtitle D, Title 10;
(2) Chapter 463; and
(3) Chapter 2254.
