Subject to and without waiving the retirement system’s sovereign immunity or the official immunity of the trustees, officers, and employees of the retirement system, unless specifically provided otherwise by another statute, the statute of limitations for a claim against the retirement system or a trustee, officer, or employee of the retirement system is two years.
