Terms Used In Texas Government Code 837.002
- Person: includes corporation, organization, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership, association, and any other legal entity. See Texas Government Code 311.005
A person‘s membership in the retirement system is terminated by:
(1) death of the person;
(2) retirement based on service credited in the retirement system; or
(3) withdrawal of all of the person’s accumulated contributions.
